You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, examine the contents of a file or update its permissions, erase a file, etc.

It does work remarkably fast - just select the files you wish to make a compressed archive of and press the Compress button. You can even select the archive file format (.rar, .zip, and so on).
